We want to invite you to a consultation on a three year research project Steven M. Cohen is conducting on behalf of the Department of Jewish-Zionist Education. The research project will examine "Changing Conceptions of Jewish Collectivity Among Young Adult Jews in the Britain, Canada and the United States." The research will inquire into the relationship and place of young adults vis-a-vis Jewish communal life and then ask how the relationship to community affects issues of Jewish education and Israel. The consultation is taking place in the framework of the monthly research seminar sponsored by the Department of Jewish-Zionist Education.

The meeting will take place at Kiryat Moriah, East Talpiot, Jerusalem on Wednesday November 13th, 2002 from 17:00 to 19:00 in the Director-General's meeting room. If you can read the research proposal before the meeting and come ready with comments it would be appreciated.
